Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy will assist with:
• increasing independence with activities of daily living (physically and cognitively)
• reccomending needed equipment and training to use
• increasing normal movement patterns after illness / injury
• improving coordination / dexterity after a trauma or effects of arthritis
• education to work simplification and joint protection techniques
• techniques to increase continence

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy will assist with:
• improving / retraining ability to walk
• optimizing strength and endurance
• resolving pain with a wide variety of modalities
• diabetic foot care
• wound care
• wheelchair positioning, functional use of wheelchair

Speech Therapy

Speech Therapy will assist with:
• improving swallowing ability
• teaching techniques to decrease risk of choking
• improving ability to speak and / or compensations for speech
